MEET Andrew Breland, PA-C

​Andrew is a Mississippi Gulf Coast–born clinician who completed his Physician Assistant training at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston after earning a Master of Science in Counselor Education and practicing as a licensed professional counselor focused on adolescent addiction, borderline personality disorder, and gender‑affirming therapy. His early work as an orthodontic lab technician and career as an actor, model, and makeup artist complements his medical training with aesthetic judgment, visual assessment skills, and patient communication. He serves on the boards of the Coneflower Institute and Youth Improvement Services, and is a member of the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. Andrew is committed to evidence‑based, patient‑centered care, mentorship and community engagement. He enjoys spending time with his husband, teenage son, three dogs, friends and family, and staying active with Zumba, tennis, movies, and bingo.
