APPOINTMENT FAQ'S

  1. Appointment scheduling. Online requests typically receive a response within 1-2 business days. If trying to schedule a same-day or next-day appointment, please call.

  2. Appointment cancellations: please call at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to cancel so that your slot can be given to another who needs it.

  3. No-show policy: $50 no-show fee will be applied if the office is not notified 24hrs prior to a missed appointment. This is done to ensure patients have the best chance to see Dr. Tran timely.

  4. Please bring your insurance card or information and any referral documentation.

  5. Consultation Fees: Dr. Tran is in-network with many insurance providers (see the insurance list). If out-of-network or self-pay, our front office staff will assist you with fee information.

  6. Patient Portal: Please register on the Patient Portal. There are many options that can be utilized to increase access to care and streamline your visit. For new patients, pre-register here. For established patients, log-in here.

  7. Forms: To streamline your check-in process, please access to all the required forms to complete beforehand. This can be done in the Portal or access the paper forms here.

  8. Please allot at least 1-2 hours for your total office time. Dr. Tran will be as efficient and thorough as is appropriate to make sure you get the most out of your consultation. Some patients are complex or may require unplanned procedural intervention, so thank you for being patient in case of any delays.

  9. You may bring a family member to help you with making healthcare decisions. If you would like them to be present virtually, please notify Dr. Tran at the beginning of the visit.

  10. Telemedicine visits are available. Dr. Tran uses an encrypted secure system called Healow - if you will be having a virtual consultation or follow-up, you will receive an email with instructions for connecting.

  11. Please bring any prior imaging, work-up, or any relevant health records needed for Dr. Tran's review. For imaging, it is best to bring the disk or film for in-person review of images.
